Hey Guys,

Quick question maybe someone can help me out. For a while now it seems I've been driving around and my E-Brake light is staying on all the time. Not sure why, I've checked my E-brake to make sure it's not actually on, lol. I've even gone underneath and looked and it's not on. Wondering if there might be something I'm missing here or what? Any help is always appreciated here.

-Thanks in advance.

The sensor might have stuck or something, if you can find it check it and see if it's operating properly. I think it would be in the area of the handle linkage under the trim, but I don't know that for sure.

If you have adequate fluid, then it's the indicator/sensor in the master Cylinder, which can only be replaced by replacing the whole MC. It doesn't hurt the vehicle, just keep an eye on the brake fluid. I, too, have the same problem, and asked about it when I got my oil changed last at the dealer.

I had the same problem with my truck with the brake light coming on. I searched under the truck for anything but it was simple as changing the front brake pads and the light went off.

Alright, thanks for the suggestions all, I do appreciate it. I guess I'll have another look around under there and maybe pick up a set of pads. My fluids are all good, just checked and did all those not to long ago.
