Eastern CT Trails?

Hey guys And gals,

I was wondering if anyone had any idea of some halfway decent trails around here i can take the X on? I live in Coventry and have been bored with little dirt roads.

Its hard to find stuff up there. Most everything is private or illegal. I was given my fair share of tickets when I was stationed in the area.

Join the Northeast Xterra Club (NEXTerra.org). We're part of the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs and have access to many private properties from PA to ME - one of our favorite spots is Gremlin Graveyard, right on the MA-CT border near Sturbridge.

In general there's not too much in eastern CT and RI anyway. Most of our wheeling is done in MA, PA, NY, and NH.

Talk to MadX, I think he's in Norwalk, CT. Not too far from you. Prob one of the closest on here actually. He might know of some good spots around there. I used to live in Newtown, haven't been around wheeling up there in 6-7 years but my buddy and I found a few good spots in Monroe, CT. It's prob been developed on by now though or like others have said, labeled as private property. :/

Thanks everyone! Actually hit a pretty nice trail today, although it wasn't completely legal (shhhhh). I loved it, really wanna find more! I'll make sure to check out NEXterra and get in contact with MadX
