Does anybody have a link to a manual or anything where I can find a part number for this hose? Unfortunately I do not have a very good picture of it. I can only describe where it is and show you the picture I do have. Okay so if you are looking at the engine from the front of the truck it is to the left of the distributor cap under the the 2 connectors. Mine is leaking and as I am replacing the timing belt in a few weeks I want to replace this too while I am in there.

Here is what I have.....

I can't determine what it is by the picture, however if you are able to make out the size and shape of the hose then I am sure it is somewhere in THIS diagram. Wish I could be more help.

Yeah I apologize for the pics, but that is the best I could do without tearing stuff apart and I can't do that until I do the timing belt as it is my DD.

It's a short rubber 90 degree hose that is buried in there. Maybe that will help a bit.

Understandable, I will try to sneak a peak at mine after I get off work. Maybe I could give you a more definite answer.

I really appreciate it. I'm getting ready to order the stuff and need this info before I do.

Edit: Let me know what you think about PN 14055.

Based on my truck (granted, an '01 but still a VG33E), it's the infamous Bypass Hose. This Part is the correct one. If you do get it from Courtesy, it should be the correct length, so your best bet with the old will be to cut it out. Make certain that you do this hose, with standard worm-driven hose clamps, otherwise you'll be doing another T-Belt job if it leaks.

14053M is a rigid pipe that links the lower radiator hose with the hose going into the thermostat.
14055M is a short hose with a slight jog in it that connects from the pipe to the thermostat
14055 is the bypass hose

Okay awesome. Now that that is figured out, is there any other things that I should do while in there doing the t-belt?

Upon a 2nd look, I am leaning more toward the 14055 also because the 14053M just wouldn't fit. Please excuse my uneducated guess, I (luckily) haven't had to tear into the coolant system over leaks yet.

Anything rubber, new hose clamps to replace the cheap wire ones Nissan used, water pump, t-belt tensioner, thermostat, drive belts. You'll need new studs on the water pump, and make certain to use thread lock on them and don't drive them to the shoulder.
