For those that have had the Knock Sensor (an other codes) trip the CEL, what did you do with the Knock Sensor. I am tempted to buy a new one and pull the intake manifold off to replace it. I also have two other evap codes, and I am pretty sure one is gas cap related.

I would try to fix the other codes if you have them. A knock sensor job is only to listen for pinging in the block. So if you have some kind of detonation going on it will trip the knock sensor code.

The knock sensor will not trip the CEL (might if you have a SC). I've had one for years and just ignored it; ive got the resistors to bypass it but have yet to install them.
