Don't forget to get a dryer too. Once the system is open to air, that thing is toast.

Personally, I'd rent the hoses and vacuum and fill it myself.

Dryer?

I think the one I ordered came with it.. It's the little can on the side right?

If you're doing it yourself, you'll need a few ounces of PAG oil. I do not have the numbers in front of me right now, but it should be about 5 mL for the for replacing the dryer and 30 for the condenser. After that you need about 30 ounces of refrigerant. I prefer to use dry refrigerant that has no oil or sealants already in it.

if you're having a shop do it, then you should be all set to go.

I'm just having my friend who works at transwest charge it and fill it. So I should be okay right if I'm just installing the thing?

Should be fine, just watch where the seals go on the pipes. I haven't looked at the FSM for your year, but for mine it was very detailed as to how to place them. I would also try to hold off on opening up the drier until you are ready to pull vacuum.

Cool thanks, on the 2008 the drier needs to be replaced that's why they come with the unit, but ill call brain at boulder Nissan and ask about the seals and pay attention when I remove them. Thanks for your help I appreciate it.
