Probably a stuck purge valve back by the charcoal canister, left rear corner.
Quite offer you can remove the valve, wash it out with cleaner and give it some wd40 or similar to get it moving again.

If you read on CX there had been quiet a few BL's that run into this issue.. Most of the times its due to people not undoing the clip before lifting.. Plus you take in the age of these things..

Yep - 1" BL, and I did not unclip the line behind the passenger side shield that goes back to the evap canister. It had cracked and severed. Repaired. Engine light still on, but I'll give it a couple days and then reset it/re-read it if it doesn't turn off

The manufacturer probably said "Oh, the Xterra kit? Yeah, he's probably on 20 different forums and has done 30 of them already, save the paper, he knows what he's doing."

Fuggars! :)

Yeah I just ordered pucks and bolts and did it...loosened a few things like heater hoses and power steering fluid reservoir. Evap lines never even occurred to me...
