So I found this truck that was sold (see pictures attached). Anyone know any good sites to buy some of these parts? Interested in the following:

1) Gobi Roof Rack
2) HID Halo Projector Headligts
3) Shrockworks front Bumper - or something similar
4) Warn 9500 lb winch
5) KC Daylights - any suggestions?
6) Upper Control Arms - any suggestions?
7) Gibson or Flowmaster Exhaust system and headers
8) Suspension and lift kit? Thinking 3" lift and a body lift. Any thoughts on kits for this?
9) Rear Swing away bumper
10) XD Monsters 778 with a nitto grappler tire

Just looking for some help to start planning out the upgrades. Any other upgrade suggestions appreciated.

So I'm a little confused. Did you buy the truck in the last two pictures?

Cause you have a heavily modified 1.5, another heavily modified 2nd Gen, and then two pictures of a stock 1.5 SE.

So I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

Let me begin by saying Welcome!

1) Best is to contact Gobi directly on that.

2) They do NOT exist for the 1.5. You're going to have to do like I did and make your own. Check the HID link in my signature.

3) for the front bumper, I'm gonna go ahead and point you over to rlcweldfab.com. James is a great guy to work with and I have yet to have someone complain about the product, the price, or the wait time. RLC has a pretty big following here on XN, so check out the sponsor section and look them up.

4) If you're really stuck on Warn, contact Danny over at xterraperformance.com. He can set you up. But there are less expensive ways to have a winch. I just ordered a 10k Engo with the synthetic line for $450. That same winch would be over a grand with the Warn badge on it.

5) Halogen bulbs are so last decade. If you want auxiliary lights, get some ridiculously bright LED light bars.

6) Your two choices here are Automotive Customizes (AC / www.4x4parts.com) or Calmini (www.purenissan.com). I have the Calmini arms on mine, and I love the fact that they are ridiculously over engineered. Instead of just the tubular style arms that AC sells. Keep in mind, with these upgraded torsion bars are also a good idea. Especially with the added weight of a bumper and winch on the front.

7) Again, no such animal by those brands for our trucks. For headers you want the Doug Thorley long tubes (also available from xterraperformance.com). As far as everything else, honestly, make (or have an exhaust shop make) a custom setup for your midpipes, muffler and tail pipe. That way you can get it exactly how you want. The only real over the counter option for midpipes that's not ridiculously priced is Pace Setter. And the only over the counter cutback I was able to find was MagnaFlow. But I didn't want to spend that much for a muffler and some tubing. My cat back cost under $250 professionally fabbed and installed.

8) The upper control arms are part of the basic 3" suspension lift. You need the UCAs, and a combination of add-a-leaf and lift shackles in the rear or all new leaf Springs designed for the lift.

No issues with the 2" BL. It can be pieced together for less than $100. Which is exactly my setup.

All of the stuff is available from AC or Calmini, again.

9) Again, call James at RLC.

10) that is one I can't help with. Never shopped for those wheels or tires. Sorry.

Anything else that you can think of?

1.I'd stay away from shrockworks, great product but the turn around time is the killer. I'd look at and rlc front bumper, James makes a great product. Hardcore off-road is also making a good looking plate bumper. both rlc and hard-core make rear tire carrier bumpers also. Me personally I'm really liking the addicted off-road tube bumper, but to each their own

2.warn makes a great product, hands down no questions ask

3. Kc daylighters are ok, I've got the PIAA 520 Atp's. I put my set next to my buddies and mine were way brighter... I really wish I had bought some rigid industries l.e.d.s instead. Less power consumption, brighter, and last way longer

4. Calmini or 4x4 parts either one. I put the calmini arms because they look bomb proof, and once you get a set, you realize how over built they really are. dealing with calmini is like playing Russian roulette though. Sometimes they come through and do an awesome job, and other times they make people mad enough not to do business with them. 4x4parts sells a tube style uca, great customer service, only reason I didn't go with them is because I seen a few guys on here having problems with theirs eating upper balljoints.

5. Doug thorely headers, hi-flow cats, and whatever muffler you choose. I like the sound of the flowmaster 44 or 40\

6. body lift and 3 inch kit are the common setup around here.
Body lift- piece together the pucks or bolts or order Ac's kit. You come out cheaper by piecing together the kit. Just check the how to section on here for the parts list. The Ac kit will set you back $225.
Suspension kit-
*decent- rancho kit (uca's, shocks, single aal, t-bars) nets 2.5 inches
*better - calmini kit (shocks suck, but pretty good kit) 4x4parts 3 inch kit (uca's, bilstein hd shocks, 3 pack aal, hd t-bars )
*best - 4x4parts articulator kit (Uca's, revolver shackles, bilstein 5100 shocks, 3 pack aal, hd t-bars)

* or you can piece together a kit. Ive got calmini uca's, revolver shackles, prg 2nd gen aal, bilstein 3 inch hd shocks. Completely up to you and what you want the truck to do.

as far as wheels go, its completely preferce and how much you wanna cut on the fenders. Less backspace and bigger tires means the fenders are going on a diet. trail grapplers are an awesome looking tire.

i'll let somebody else weight in on the stuff I didn't mention

WOW thanks for the thorough response gents.

The truck I bought was the black stock 2002 from those pics. The other 1st gen has a few of the parts I wanted so I threw it in there also. I still haven't figured out how to post with hyperlinks yet so it was hard for me to identify which pics I was looking at.

No big man, posting pictures takes a minute to get used to. These guys gave great advice. Definitely check out our site sponsors, they are all directly related to the Xterra and give back to our community.

Check out national tire and wheel or 4wheel parts for the wheels and tires, they should have them. I just bought tires and wheels from there recently and everything came mounted and balanced to my door cheaper than the competitors, and they threw in stainless lug nuts. Everything else lbishop and prime already got you covered with!

Thanks for the feedback gents.

Did a little more work on the trim today. Figured I would put up some pics of the headlights blacked out.

It was hell trying to figure out how to do it, but I finally found a thread that walked me through how to remove the headlight assembly. Actually was really simple. Now to just get the grill painted. Then we will see what I do with the bumpers as I start looking at getting the new bumper.
