Brake booster vacuum hose?

So my brake booster vacuum hose is pretty well used up. I went looking for a replacement and it seems like the molded hose was discontinued some time ago. I believe the hose ID is about 3/8" or maybe 9mm? The few places that still have new old stock floating around want highway robbery prices for a simple little bit of hose. What have people been doing to replace this? Has anyone found one of those universal molded hoses that approximates the OE booster hose to be sufficient. I've even considered just trying a bit of 3/8" ID straight rubber hose. Anyway just looking for alternatives to bending over for one of the few remaining OEM hoses.

Auto zone. They should be able to cut you a length of hose that is of the correct type for a vacuum application. It won't be molded, but it'll work.
