Thanks man. So the bolts that came with the kit were too short. When you drill into your door jam you pass through and then there's a second layer of metal. The screws that came with the kit didn't even screw into the second layer of metal. From what I know only one other guy with these mounts had the same problem. On top of that the second layer of metal is really rigid, so I ended up having to use an impact.. broke a couple screw heads, finally got the screws out, got new screws in and finished up. Way more work than it needed to be haha

Pinstripes came from the factory!

Thanks for the info! Bummer about the short screws, I hate getting bad hardware for things that are supposedly "Xterra specific" lol glad you got it figured out!

Wonder if that was a 2000 SE thing or something...I like it!
