Just ordered my new "S" 4wd auto from Jim Falk Motors on Maui. I live on the Big Island, so they'll ship it to me by barge, should be here in about 2 weeks, which is how things go here. The X is about perfect for here, a great take-it-to-the-beach vehicle with the comes-with roof rack and easy cleanup. I've had a few Jeeps, but I really, really need that roof rack and that's a tough thing to do on a Jeep. Funny thing, although the Xterra is very popular here (used by a lot of cops, for one thing), there are precious few used, and the ones that do surface have about the distance to the moon and back on them, so I guess they don't change hands until they're used up. I'm super excited.
