Adding a Pro-x Air Dam with Lights to a Non Pro-x. Is it possible?

I have a 2014 S model Xterra, and a guy wants to trade his Pro-x air dam with lights for my non0lighted one. Question is, can I wire up the lights and make it work? Thanks!

Of course. It won't be plug and play. You'll have to provide your own wiring, switch, relay, and fusing, but it is most definitely possible. You would essentially be adding aftermarket lights to your roof.

Along with what Everett said. The other thing you would have to do is run wires up to the roof. There are three ways people have done this.

1. Put hole in roof and run a water proof bulk head.
2. Run wires up the corner of the windshield.
3. Run wires to the back through the headliner up to the roof

In all reality the stock mickey mouse ears are not that good. Also the replacement bulbs and such are extremely expensive. I would just mount a 40" led bar or something light this. It would be a lot better in performance. I have the stock roof lights. I am highly considering getting rid of them and going to the 40" led.

The replacement bulbs are ordinary 9005 headlight bulbs. They're not that expensive. An upgrade to HIDs would cost a $50 and it makes the Mickey Mouse lights worth having.
