2004 Nissan XterraWindshield wiper won't turn off......?

Was checking the wiring and now the windshield wiper will not turn off on my 2004 Nissan Xterra...?? I ended up having to pull the fuse....? Any thoughts....Grrr

Could be a short in the wires or the motor, or even the switch. I’d start at the switch and work toward the wiper motor.
