2 lights - 2 switches - 1 wiring kit.. How?

Alright so right now I temporarily used the OE fog light wiring for my 20" bar. Tomorrow I will be wiring up my reverse lights but I only have 1 wiring kit left. I'm pretty sure there is a way to have 2 independent lights, each with its own switch on the same wiring harness i'm just not sure where exactly to add the second switch in. Is there any reason not to do this? If it's possible does anyone have a good wiring diagram?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Are you trying to wire up where you can turn each left and right rear light on individually? Or are you wanting to use the same kit for both the LED bar and the reverse lights (together)? What's included in the wiring kit?

I'm wanting to put the front LED bar and reverse LED bar on the same wiring harness as I only have one left. I want them both on an independent switch though.

This is the wiring harness

I unfortunately don't really see it possible. The wiring kit is just a harness with a relay. The switch turns on and off the relay, and the relay cuts power to the light. The only way to cheat would be to do a master-slave, where one switch turns on the entire circuit, and the second switch (with another relay), turns off one of the two lights. So both the LED bar and reverse lights are on at the same time with one switch, and with the other switch you chose (with how you wire it) to turn off the LED bar or the reverse lights.

Depends on what you have and how your wiring skills are, it's only a relay with a switch and a fuse with some wire. I would be your best bet to make another one.

Depending on how many amps your light bars draw, how many amps the reley can handle, and the gauge of your wire in the wiring harness... You COULD wire both light bars in parallel. Both lights would come on at the same time when you pushed the button. Then, place a single pole single throw switch on the negative side of whatever light bar you will use less often (i would assume the rear) between the light and the ground. I could draw a picture of this if needed. (I'm on my phone now) This would turn one light on and off every time and simply add the other light.

But, since you are wanting to have one light facing forward and one facing behind, I can't imagine your wiring harness is going to be long enough to do all of this, so at minimum you are going to have to buy some extra wire and another switch. Since you are doing that you may as well just buy another harness or the materials to make your own. Then you wouldn't have to worry about how to wire all this madness.

Yeah i have a second switch & extra wire already but i may just use the wiring kit on the reverse lights & leave the 20" bar on the fog wiring until I get another wiring kit. Doesn't really seem like its worth the hassle trying to get both lights on the same harness
