Good Heavens.... replace the headliner. You don't realize how much noise it reduces until you drive around for a while without it.

IMHO..... you do not know what damage has been done to the rear diff. It could lock up suddenly and cause you to have an accident. Get it fixed.

Took out the back platform that I built which replaced the back seats.

Did this just start or has it been going on for a long time? Have you replaced the spark plugs? At 110,000 miles it is time. IMHO... going by the gauge is not an accurate reflection of how much fuel has been used, keeping actual numbers of miles (kilometers) and gallons (liters) is much more...

Looking for a tranny or rebuilding that one. Friend did that with his Blazer once. failure partly because of rapid shifting from D to R and partly due to the fact it was sittin on the transmission pan and cooling wasn't very good.
