@Alien @Prime I may be wrong, but I believe the mileage is mechanically stored in the instrument cluster for the 1st gen Xterra's (2000-2004), and can't change/update to your original instrument cluster mileage. On my end, I eventually had to switch out the original plastic instrument cluster...

Been combing through the site (and ClubXterra too) trying to find a How To install the SS Brake lines from AC, but haven't found a thing. I know it's pretty straightforward and there are a bunch of videos on youtube but I'd rather have one specific to a 1st gen xterra.

@XioCon there are replacements for the instrument cluster bulbs, both the three illumination lights - the two black and one brown ones, and the smaller, individual warning lights. The three illumination lights can be found at superbrightleds with this part number: 194-NWHP5-PC: Natural White...

@Prime Will this new instrument cluster change my odometer mileage? I would think the odo mileage is stored somewhere else, but maybe i'm wrong about that.

@Prime - the superbright LEDs that i bought for the AC control area....work! They are "NEO4-NWHP: 4mm NEO4-xHP Natural White" ...and these 'natural bright' ones are significantly bright enough that even though they are much shorter than the OEM Blue Tube incandescent ones, they still put out...

Heya OldFart, first thing I would look into is downloading the Xterra Service Manual. In the EL Chapter, this will show you all the grounds for the whole vehicle. The Service Manual was once found on some of the other Nissan Forums out there, but I think it has since been removed due to Nissan...
