How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

Limit straps it is. I was leaning that way.

How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

@IM1RU I think you mistook the point of this thread. I KNOW I have the potential to bind something. I'm wondering what people are doing to PREVENT the binding if they have SPC arms. Are they using limiter straps? Are they just wheeling carefully? do they just tear through their CVs/ball joint...

How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

@TerryD I'm wondering if we are talking around each other? You mentioned you have your Radflos set to 2.5" preload lift with a 0.5" spacer which should provide 3" of lift. I was planning to set my preload lift to 0.5" with a spacer of 2.5". From my reading, isn't this an optimal setup...

How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

Th Right, that was my understanding. I was wondering if anyone has tried to mitigate that by using straps? Or Maybe it would just be easier to get some bumpstops welded to the UCA...

How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

I was planning on running a 2.5" spacer. And where I'm most concerned is at full droop.

How to not bind my CVs with SPC UCAs

Hey all, this is probably a dumb question, but one I haven't seen answered or even discussed anywhere on this site or others. I'm likely just bad at googling. I have a 2013 S with SW bumper with winch, engine and rad skids, sliders, and rear bumper. I recently purchased the AllDogsOffroad 5100...

    Stop The Rubbing

No, the melt mod bends the plastic above this point. This point is actually a bit that covers the welded joint of the skin. You can see it running back towards the rear. At least....I thought so? Am I wrong?

    Stop The Rubbing

Hey All, So I just got back from the tire shop with these great Yokohama Geolander 285s. Unfortunately, this little nubbin in the back front fender rubs on both sides (one more than the other). Any thoughts on how to fix this little issue? I'm assuming it will involve some trimming? Is the...

    Mean Green Alternator Setpoint

Yup, Zack got it. I will say that also there has been some discussion about whether the alternator functions appropriately with our machines. I forget the specifics now, but there was discussion on TheNewX where users were having to alter it manually.

2nd Gen - Wanted Shrockworks Front Bumper And Rad Skid

Title says it. Looking to buy, I'm in NorCal willing to travel within reason to meet. I have a stock bumper I'm willing to trade. Looking for Rad Skid and Bumper with Hoops, will take the winch too if offered. Looking to spend around $1500 for Bumper, Skid, and winch in decent condition.

    Diagnosing A Charging Issue.

Hey All, Just got back from a trip doing the old Mojave Road. For those of you familiar, against my better judgement, I bent to peer pressure and completed the Afton Crossing. After the Afton crossing and before the train trestle is another developing hole...and here the bottom is soft; I got...

Diy Hybrid Folding And Rollout Awning

These are the stakes I bought to anchor the legs, I'm going to use hose clamps to attach them for now. Eventually ill use pins and drill holes in the legs.

Diy Hybrid Folding And Rollout Awning

Worry not everyone, I plan on anchoring at least two guy lines and the poles themselves. :)

Diy Hybrid Folding And Rollout Awning

Nice CHUG! I'm planning on using a bungie wrapped under the middle foot of the roof rack from one grommet to the other to keep the center down. On the other hand, the outside edge is completely screwed down to the front bar, so it can't flop any where. Im thinking that due to the size, this will...
