Well Kids... It happened last night, the Nissan is gone and replaced with a new to me 2019 Ford F150. It's been a lot of fun and I will mist the helpfulness of the Nissan community but I know this new truck will be much more comfortable towing the trailer from now on.
So does anyone know of a Ball baring/axis lock type folder similar to the Benchmade griptilian but maybe not so expensive (under 100 bucks)? I really like Spyderco Manix and Benchmade Bugout but not really looking to spend 200 on another pocket knife... I love the lock and the blade of the...
Yeah I wish I could but selling the Xterra is what will make financing the next truck possible.
Once again I wish I could. I keep looking at diesel Excursions and have found a few that I could almost trade keys for keys but the wife will never go for buying a 16YO truck.... New I should have...
Just checking back in here, I still have the Xterra and almost have it paid off! I'm still planning on trading it in or selling it towards the end of the year but for now I've been enjoying it. Just last week I had to run into work and grab some equipment to work from home and I took the...
That was an option that crossed my mind so I could have a toy that still fits the family but I think I will need the value out of the X to make a newer truck happen financially.
I'm currently looking at 15-up F250 gassers just because the DEF crap and extra maintenance/fuel costs out way the...
Traded the wife's Xterra in just before Christmas last month. Now that she has a new car I'm back to next in line for a new vehicle and thinking about selling/trading my Xterra in later this year or early next year on a full size truck. We are doing more with the camper and the X does struggle...
Stick with it man. Engineering school is a pain in the as$ and pretty much makes you feel like an inferior failure, but once you get to the real world and start making money it gets a lot better. You do still have to deal with idiots most days but at least there isn't homework.
wife picked up a roofing screw in a tire.. guess I'm getting her new shoes sooner than expected:
Yes I know it could probably be patched and they still have some life in them BUT hers is the xterra we drive most often with our 1YO baby so new tires is well worth the piece of mind with winter...
Rear brakes have plenty of life left in em, Fronts didn't owe me much...
Pads got here yesterday, slotted and drilled rotors are on the delivery truck right now. hopefully if everything goes well she can be back on the road tonight.
Used my Xterra to tow the camper last weekend and as I pulled into the campground I heard the last of my brake pads disappear. Well at least I know I got ALL the life they had to give and she still stopped alright (thank goodness for trailer brakes). New pads and rotors are on the way and I'll...
