Bought a M226 rear axle @ 3.69 from Duncan Mills on Facebook. If you need some Xterra part but really just A) dont want to pay Dealership prices and B ) dont want to scrounge around junk yards for weeks on end - this guy could very well be your man.

Is yours an automatic transmission ? If so - I should be the first to mention - check your radiator - for the possibility of SMOD. It happens to guys who get their hands on an 06-09 Xterra and it is extremely pricey to fix !

Well...I can say from an aesthetic standpoint...those headlights make the truck look like it's surprised. And a total opposite of the Angry Jeep eyes I've seen all over town. Not a fan of either.

The Frontier trucks are Spring Over Axle, the Xterras are Spring Under axle - and not readily exchangeable. I say 'readily'- because yeah, you can make lots of cutting and welding to get them to fit. It's not worth the hassle IMHO. You also wrote, " Wanting to clear 31" tires" ? So...wait a...
