Picked up a 2011 Pro-4X today....
Welcome from Arizona! I bought my 2011 Pro 4X with 95k four years ago. After doing maintenance and a few upgrades, 50k later it is a capable machine and running strong. I couldn't be happier with my choice and I suspect you will be too.- Argan

Shrockworks Skids and Cooling
I am in Arizona and had the full Shrockworks skids front to back for over a year. Have not had any heating issues. I don't run a lot of trails, but our temperatures here are quite a bit higher than Virginia. Is it possible you have some other issue?- Argan

What Cooler Do You Have?
I used to use a Coleman Xtreme 50 quart cooler that worked just fine with two gallon ice jugs for 3 days in the summer. I upgraded to a Kong 50 rotomolded cooler after watching the videos of cooler tests and reading the reviews and have been very happy. I now use the gallon ice container...
