Well today was an amazing day. My wife and I went hiking out in the mountains with the dog. Then we came home, ate dinner, and I took advantage of the insane 63 degree plus weather to fiddle with my motorcycle. It's a 96 Honda Magna V-4 with 32,143 miles. I bought it in July, and rode it pretty much every day until the beginning of November, when it suddenly decided to stop starting. I replaced the starter solenoid and the run/stop switch, and still no love from it. The engine would crank and even though I had spark, would not fire... And it has sat all winter under it's cover on the trickle charger and with a full tank. Today after we got home I decided to drop in the new NGK plugs I bought and the old SOB roared to life like gobblezilla coming up from the depths. After I had it running for a bit, had to hunt down my riding gear and off I went down the road for a gorgeous evening ride.
Just in time for the 15 degree high and winter storm tomorrow lol. She's all covered up again. It's a great bike, but I do want something newer. Want to trade it for a 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 with ABS.
