Took me a minute. Sitting here thinking, "Damn that truck looks familiar..." Then I saw the garage and it clicked. Heh.

Glad you made it over. The rack came out awesome! Gonna paint it or leave it bare aluminum?

Nice job on the rock lights too. I might have to swing by next time you guys are working on something and check them out.

Ditto to this, I am really liking this build. I was excited when I followed the amazon link for that light bar and saw the great price, until I saw $50 shipping lol. I really like that you include links for your stuff in the build. Very well put together.

I didn't pay shipping for anything, I was able to get them all from Prime eligible vendors. Thanks for the comments!

Nice Setup, those lights look great in that rack. what kinda of wiring harnesses are you using?

Thanks! I custom made all of my harnesses. I can turn on all the lights individually or turn all lights on at once via a single switch (apocalypse switch). I have a build thread for the my rack and lighting setup over on TNX. I suppose when I get some free time I will make a few build threads for the stuff I have done.

Good to see you got on here!

Ya thanks for reminding me to get over here bro!

Nice. Welcome to The Nation.

Very clean build.

Wooo!!! Nice man, glad to see you make the switch!

Thank you all for the welcome!!! I already feel at home haha

Mannnnnnnnnnn that light setup is killer! I wanted to wire mine the same - have one switch that turns everything on. Too big a pain. Kudos to you for an awesome wiring job!

The worst part was dealing with removing the headliner. I HATE messing with the interior, and it sucks that you have to start from the bottom and work your way up to remove the healiner. I also mounted my relay panel in the overhead above the passenger visor. That took a little thought to make it all fit. Like I said earlier I'll make a detailed thread covering all my mods so you can get a better idea of how it is laid out if you really wanna do it. If you put your switches and relays somewhere else it would make the job way easier. Thanks for the compliments though!!!

Changed up the color on the badges and dipped them red. Also got the BullyDog GT 40415 installed with the blendmount. I went with the Premium tune and removed the WOT limiter, the biggest difference I have noticed so far is how smooth acceleration is now. I've only driven about 5 miles though.

Not bad at all, I'm becoming pretty proficient with my headliner haha. I was able to get away with just removing the clasp knob for the visor and stuffing the HDMI cable up there. The A pillar is easy to pull. You have to run the power from the fuse box if you want a keyed power source. I did have to buy a little adapter because the piece BullyDog supplies doesn't work with our low profile fuses.

Haha ya, I converted, spending less and less time on TNX. I wasn't able to get everything finished on the rack before vacation. I've been super busy, but hopefully when I get home it'll be mounted for good!

Next project is going to be bumpers if I can get the $$$ together. I want a tube front winch bumper and a wrap around tire carrier for the rear. The goal is to have no more plastic.

I didn't remove them, it's PlastiDip so you can just peel it off. My buddy does body work and he told me to not remove them unless I absolutely had to cause they are a PITA to get back on correctly. He even said that if I did it's better to just buy new emblems.

I've only driven about 30 miles with it. I love the monitoring it does, I'll have to see how it does when I fill up next time. I love having it up above the mirror though. I'm not a fan of clutter on my dash and windshield.

Need to play some catchup, a lot of updates.

First the roof rack is painted and mounted.

Thanks man, just had some extra laying around from my rock lights. I proved to myself why "mechanics" should not be playing with electricity. Burnt the **** outa my hand with the soldering iron while attaching the leads to the strip I used.

Where else can I put LEDs??? I'm thinking I should put some on the rear hatch and tie it into the hatch light circuit.

Sitting here I'm thinking I need to move the power for my CB to my bus bar. Right now it's coming off the power outlet in the center console which is fine but it is a keyed source. I would like to have my radio on without my key on for trail runs that way I can just leave the radio on all the time when wheeling without the key being on.

Yeah, I need to do that as well. Mine is currently tapped from the cig lighter in the center stack.

There's always more places to put LED's! You've got some epic lighting on that rack. The only critique I have is that the side bars should have angled down just a bit more. So its effective work light on the ground instead of lighting the trees 50' away.

You also need to post a picture of the top of the rack. The way you have all the expanded metal up there is just awesome.

I played with the angles a little bit. The rock lights do a pretty good job of illuminating the ground around the X. With the way I did the floor and protection for the lights I couldn't really rotate the lights anymore than they are. Maybe this means I should look into something more to mount underneath and point outward.... Interesting, damnit now you've got me thinking. Now I'll be on Amazon for the next week looking for the right lights.

That reds makes a statement!! I love it! Curious about the hood led strip. How did you wire it up? Is it switched?
Glad you brought this to the Nation!!
