Was just me and deadpilot for this trip. Easy trail but really scenic in that desolate, bare, AZ desert kind of way that we all love... :p

I read an article saying that from 1912-1917 the mine produced $33,000+ in gold. The mine shaft is still there and you can go in it, cart tracks and all. We didn't since we had the kids with us but next time we'll have the flashlights and Jason and I will check it out!

Nice pics. Looks like a great run out to the desert!
Getting ready to take the group on a big run in another week or two out to the Utah west desert along the NV border.
This only gets me more excited to go. That cabin is cool! Glad to see its not trashed or vandalized.
