That looks to be about 2 hours from me. Not sure when your going that way...I'm gonna be pretty busy until after WENT, but a SC/NC meet n greet in the future would be awesome.

I would be down for camping in November at URE. There is also a trail in Lenoir, NC that is fun to run, but no where to really camp. Let's get some dates nailed down for November URE camping trip. I will bring a buddy with me, if we can give him enough time. Perhaps some of the VAXC guys can come down too...

This may come off as unintelligent. But i have yet to venture out that far, anyone know from experience the trail difficulty?
Not really concerned, just thinking ahead as my X is still fairly stock.

There's some crazy stuff and there's some gravel roads haha and everything in between. There's enough there to keep you content plus some haha

URE is a GREAT place to get your "wheels wet" in the off-road world. But, your vehicle will safely travel all the trails at URE...whether the driver can (as I have come to learn in myself) is a completely different story.

Daniel is a baby now. This whole trail is doable by a stock Xterra perhaps with a rear locker. Dickey Bell I did with stock tires and a 2" Body lift (NOT suspension lift), and didn't have any issues at all.

Yeah I wanna know too. When I was there I had a JKU lifted on mud terrains and I wouldn't even attempt Daniel since that was my daily driver. Rode it with a buddy in a trail XJ, and it had 2 or 3 really tough spots that would be next to impossible for a stock X to do...

My buddy in a 2010 Jeep Liberty with 31's and 3" lift did the whole trail...

Wonder why they made it so much easier? There were plenty of trails for stock or mild built rigs, the big boys are gonna want stuff to play on, and other than Kodak Rock there isn't anything else I can think of.
