Ok so I went camping out in the woods with a buddy. We heard someone stuck when to help and they where stuck. 6" lifted dodge 1500 side ways in a creek had to winch them out through the woods backwards. Almost hydrolocked their truck. While we where doing that with my buddies heep, my wife thought "oh well, I will go night riding in his."

Yeah crushed the rear drivers quarter panel. Pics to follow

Time to chop it. Or put a bed on it

Any day in the woods is a good day, consider yourself lucky that she wanted to go in the first place, and felt comfortable enough to try.

Sucks man! You should nickname her Ralph. "Wreck It Ralph" that is!

So I am thinking either to straighten it and cover both sides with sheet metal and put round leds in the bumper or chop it low and put round leds in the bumper. Either way I am getting round leds in the bumper.

Be glad she didn't shatter that window! It looks like its about to!

Besides since you talked about going SAS, you would've gotten damages anyways from hardcore wheeling so just be glad she did that job for you now.

That little scratch? Some steel, round LED's and you're all set.

Like Dani said, call it Ralph!

I personally can't wait until I get a scratch in mine. I already have permission to cut the roof off. And since I've got a couple of daily drivers, I might go K5 style with mine. Just have to get the scratch in it first.

Hmm would look cool if you wrapped the corners in diamond plate with round led lamps

Ben

I like that idea with the diamond plate. Next weekend I will start working to straighten it out. If I cant get it good enough it will get chopped. But if I can get it straight enough for some metal to cover it than diamond plate and round leds it is.

I looked at it again and the metal is literally pushing against the back window so it will probably break when I start to work on straightening it anyways.

If you decide that the back window has to break, cover it in vinyl or something like that, so when it shatters, the vinyl or "sticker" will hold it all together so you don't get glass everywhere.

I was going to tape it but we will see next weekend. I am only worried about getting above the light straight so there isnt a gap with the door.

You know, at least she wanted to go out adventuring! So when you start chopping and modding it more, she can join in the more bashing body damage fun. :p Make sure she helps "fix/mod" it, too so it can be a learning process, haha.

Most of the times we go its because she wanted to. And that trip was one of them. But getting her to help fix it other than chop or not chop is probably not going to happen. She feel bad and wants to pay for it out of her paycheck but I think that we will do it at home, either chop it or fix it as good as needed diamond plate it and put round leds in it.
