I'm thinking that had to go to something aftermarket that existed for a previous owner. Because that sure as hell doesn't look like any OEM Nissan plug or loom I've ever seen on the truck. Can you follow it and see where it goes?

There are 4 wires going in. One has blue stripes one has green stripes. There are 7 slots though I think only 4 are in use.
It has wording. To dark to read though.

Kind of looks like the plug for my rear seat flip down ceiling TV. It's aftermarket and the plug looks pretty close.

The green wire is zip tied. It runs under the a pillar, down window trim and is zip tied under fuse box. The blue one goes in where that pink thing is.

Disregard or not, I still don't like the way those fuses are tapped.

I'd probably spend the time to fish it out, not being in use and all.

Splice the wire in the factory harness. Which fuse/function are you tapping on? I can tell you which wire to use.

The way they're tapped, I'm not sure if they're on the line (unfused) or load side

It goes into electric accessories 7.5 amp. The switch is going into the bottom 15 amp can't remember what it is though.

Ah ha! Thought that looked familiar.. that's the plug that goes into the back of the Compass/Temperature read-out mirror that you can buy from Nissan.. I installed one in my X a few years back

Someone installed a compass/temp mirror (I think they're Gentex) and then decided to keep it for their next ride when they sold/traded in the Xterra you now own. Hell, now you can can buy one and you're pre wired for it!
