I have been avoiding this thread for a while now because I am sad I won't make it due to financial reasons :( Bank accounts are still recovering from wedding/honeymoon a month ago and as much as I try to, can't rationalize days off of work and the gas money for a 6 hour drive.

I am making my wife sign a contract that we are going next year though...so take lots of photos and videos...and 2015 better come quick!

So, I have a question. I've already registered myself, but my girlfriend isn't sure if she'll be able to get the time off to go or not, if she doesn't end up going I'm going to try to get my brother or someone else to go in her place. Is this possible seeing as how the registration asks for names? Can I check my brother Owen in if my guest is registered as Caitlin?

Yes but items go to print in 17 days so.. Understand that..
We will be doing a late registration as well.. But it will not include shirt / lanyard

I hope your GF comes, but it will be funny to see your brother Owen with a lanyard and name tag that says Caitlin!!!

Thanks for the replies! Hope to make it for 1, 1 1/2, or 2 days. Any will be good.

Saw a lady (her family owns my local Nissan dealership) yesterday and asked jokingly if she was going. She hadn't heard of it. Said she always wanted to do a Jeep Jamboree but didn't own one and had never driven off road. I told her this is her lucky year.
She was in a hurry and I sent her some links that she wanted.

The local dealer was not helpful at all.. Me and rattfink met with them in the fall 2011..
They blew us off..
Nissan even came to them and nothibg

Yea, I've asked my local dealer and they just ignore me. Shame, I would gladly throw some decals and stuff on mine.

She was totally surprised by not knowing about such of a event. I know she's actively involved in the dealership. Maybe Nissan does not alert the dealers about this event.

To me, everyone making this happen is really going over board to make new people welcome. Also, demonstrating with the different driver group skill level , attendees shouldn't feel intimidated.

I would think local dealers would be all over this event. They should be. Money generator for them.

Yes last year Nissan hq had a talk with then and they didn't want to be involved at all..
