My rear driver side door, that has had a decent dent in it for the past year and a half is now being replaced with a junk yard door that is dent free. I tore the door down in the pull-a-part yard, so I know "how" things go together as far as bolts here and clips there. I tried to be as non destructive as possible, but without being able to move the window down to remove the glass from the regulator, I had to force a few things that I'd rather not force when swapping over my door components. I have replaced window regulators and door tracks on other cars numerous times, so I have no worries of not knowing how things go together...just trying to save some time if someone else has done this before.
I have learned in past projects that they can often be a puzzle as far as which parts need to be assembled first due to the geometry and getting the parts past each other. So I am curious if anyone else has done a complete door rebuild before, and if you have any tips as far as order of reassembly. Really, the toughest part based on the junk yard door was the vertical divider bar and getting the glass out of the channels.
