Man I love my AK. It's a blast to shoot, cheaper than an AR too shoot, easy to clean/disassemble, and probably the most reliable weapon on earth. I have a cheapo wasr/10 made by Century Arms but it's never let me down and Im proud of it. Make sure whatever you buy has a chrome lined barrel and, if you don't want to work on it right off the bat, make sure it dosen't have canted sights. The canted sights are an easy fix and can be a bargaining tool if you find one with them. The easyest way to check is to stand the gun on its stock and look down the barrel at the sights. If you notice the front sight pin is offset in relation to the rear sight, then it is canted. Arsenal is an american manufacturer of Ak's they seem to be what everyone goes for, if you have got the coin. I would just recommend geting a basic cheap model from whoever you decide because you are going to want to trick it out, skock, tri-rail, lights, ect.
