You all have fun. I really really wish I could be there. I'm really sad to be missing out but I'm also really glad to be finally allowed to leave the Air Force barracks and live on my own. Make sure you get lots of photos and plan really good for next year...because I'll be planning to go far in advance and hopefully I'll have some new mods and stuff on my truck to make it less stock. ;)

My leave was approved an hour ago. Ass hat military supervisors and their laziness (but I digress). I'm half tempted to just say **** it and get on the road tomorrow but there is no way in hell I can afford it. Plus I have to sign the apartment lease tomorrow. I have an appointment for 1800 hours.

Made it as far as Staunton VA. Didn't leave till freaking 8pm. After stopping a few times to check the load strapped to the top I made it as far as I'm willing to drive tonight. We'll see you kids in the morning.

Jealous! I'll be rolling out in about 24 hours; should get there tomorrow early afternoon.

I finished a bit of maintenance/modding last night; got my front sway-bar bolts fixed and mounted my front and eng/trans skids. I didn't have time to get the transfer case skid mounted so I may just have to roll without it.

About to check over all fluids, suspension and drive system. and then start packing it. Go to the store buy some food and supplies. Tomorrows meeting is going to take forever to finish and once it does about a 11 hour drive. Then a short nap. Wake up and wheel. Then night wheel. Then finally a good night sleep after 5 days!

Well it figures.......grrrr. :Annoyed:I was hoping to be on the way by noon but it looks like it will be closer to 6 or 7pm, putting me getting there somewhere around 8. I think that's after the Windrock office closes but is it ok for us to come on by for awhile? We're staying in Oak Ridge so it would be after we get checked-in.

I know for people camping the policy is camp the night and pay in the morning. So I don't see why you coming over would be an issue.

Got the xterra loaded up. Gonna go pick up a few more supplies then give her the once over (tire pressure, oil, stuff like that). Should be headed to windrock between 2 and 3 so I should see you guys by 7 or 8 I would imagine.
