Yesterday......went to fix the drip from the kitchen faucet.....$2 fix....putting it back together a piece broke.....no replacement for it....got a new faucet for $200.
I love when a small repair job costs 100 times what it should

That sounds like a pain in the ass. I need to replace all most all the copper pipes in my house they are old and I have one about 6" above my water heater that has a small leak that I need to get fixed. The shiatty thing is i have never soldered copper pipes and don't really want to learn. This pipe has two runs coming off of it and the elbows.Oh yeah, over the weekend a coupling on the only sections of piping we didn't replace at the beginning of the month started dripping.
I cut the water off to it to attempt to get it to stop but it was spraying water when I cut it back on.
After work today I cut out that coupling and replaced it with a slip splice to get the water back on in the back bathroom. Then when I went to shower later on, the air trapped in the shower piping caused such a hammer when it hit the shower head it broke the restriction orifice out of the head and stopped up the inlet and I had hardly any water to shower in.
So now I need a new shower head....

Dang bad year for your Plumbing, something simple turned into a Money pit.. 2020 you will be a Expert Plumber.. Then your Electrical will go bonkers..
I will probably see if my dad has the crimper and stuff like that, he has been flipping house for the last 3 years so he has most likely used pex.I run cpvc. Everyone says PEX is where it's at but it seems kinda expensive when compared to cpvc, especially if you have to buy the crimp tool and ring splitter.

That's what I bought my boy when he was 12. Great gun for the money. Myself and others were surprised that it ate and spit out anything we fed it..Tristar Arms 20ga semi-auto shorty.

Did you get a lifetime alignment from them?La, la, la... sitting at Firestone, drinking morning coffee while they do their thing to Tonka. Rotate tires, check alignment, etc.
