I paid my tickets. I never said I wasn't going to. I was saying I hope they let me make payments. And I got an even better deal than payments. They cut my fines in more than half so I just paid them

Gaming laptops are a complete waste of money tbh. To stay relevant and play games at best settings, you typically replace your gpu every 2 years and if you build high end to start, your cpu/mobo every 4-5 years at the most. This of course assumes that you are dropping approx 2k or more on a high end setup. That GPU has a rating of about 2700 on gpu benchmarks. The top desktop gpu is over 11000. With that same 980$ you would spend on that crappy laptop, I could build you a mini itx small form factor gaming rig that would be no bigger than 13"x13"x13"
Would not be top of the line, but would be a crap ton better than that thing.

Then why bother paying even that much for a computer? Now a days all you need in a laptop is an i5 and solid state drive.
Personally, I hated macbooks and macbook pros until I started using one at work a couple years ago. I just bought my wife a new mb pro and I know once I finish building my new desktop I'm going to end up buying a macbook pro for myself to use for work.
