My center stack switches are super freaking bright. So I wired an LED dimmer inline with them so I could manually control the brightness.

Lol. It hasn't. But it will perfectly. It's still sitting in the garage. I'm gonna get a new head unit and pull all the stuff out at once. Do the new unit, wiring, and some other things all at once. I just need some free time to do it.

I think the truck intake will be too tall. Either the standard Mustang intake or the Cobra intake.

The 5.0 with the GT40 or Cobra intake with decent heads makes plenty of torques. It'll probably need shorty headers to fit.

To me the size of the 3.3 vs the Windsor platform it's a good match. True, the pushrod design isn't as refined as an overhead cam engine.

The only thing that keeps me from going head on in this is the bellhousing and transmission setup. I need to keep my manual, and with the mechanical transfer case linkage, it can't move.

I have a feeling I'm going to need to get a custom bellhousing made. Something that has the layout from the Nissan and the bolt pattern of the Windsor block. Then comes the flywheel/pilot bearing problem.
