The 4.9/4.6 rear axle is H233B, which is between the Danna 44 and 60. That's why most Gen 1 guys don't swap the rear axle when they SAS.
True.
Not on an off-road rig. You have to get the revs up too high for them to be effective.
Unless you wheel with a few of my Jeep friends. I swear those 4.0L they have just seem to sing to get anything done.

Now it it's. Well. Now the engine no longer exists. But yes. Fiat is majority owner of Chrysler. Just like Benz used to be.
im not talking about the shares Fiat owns. i mean the motor was designed by an engineer in Italy and Chrylser bought the design. see the thing about the Lee Iaococa days of Chrysler, he was very good at gray importing part into his cars and sold it as 'Murican made.

Uhm. The 4.0 originally the 4.2 was an AMC engine that was built in the 60s. It had nothing to do with Chrysler until they bought AMC.
