some plays/books are better than others its just that i think my high school was way to into it and ruined it for a lot of people. even the theater kids were sick of it lol.

We had Romeo in 9th grade, Caeser in 10th, and MacBeth in 12th. I learned an appreciation for it, but it is a bit much.

we didnt do the plays, im talking about english class, sitting there reading and reading and reading.
but Othello was pretty cool.

Hamlet 8th (I was stage crew and helped with the swordplay/choreography, and had to fill in for Laertes closing night, R&J jr year (Romeo), and did Hamlet at the community level sr year and stole hamlet quite effectively...the director that year let me choreograph a LONG sword fight in for the poisoned blade scene, and then realized the error of his ways when the other guy and I wrote a 45 minute VERY active sword fight that was done with real blades (non-sharpened)
