TGPWS 10: The Tentacle Invasion

I Smile when Gasoline Can Freeze
Got out for a nice drive in the snow trying to get to a few lakes that no one has pushed into with vehicles yet this spring. Got to a few but not as far as we were hoping to. I was still making progress but slow and others were struggling. So we turned around before it became a big stuck fest.

That's basically how I got the 2nd X. I was going to help the owner to restore it, then shiat hit the (his) fan, and I pitched in with labor and I ended up owning the X. Roughly ~$1,700 worth of labor. 191,000, 2wd, engine sounds like a Diesel. No other issues other than showing its age and a really crappy maintenance schedule it seems.
I was quoted a new engine, installed, 30 day warranty, for $1,600 across the border. I may go for that.

Those people are insane
I have a really good friend and when we were younger I was early 20's him early 30's he would go run it.
He had a DUI and couldn't drive so he asked me to take him one year. He was a bartender and this girl he was screwing from time to time graduated college by us and moved back home to Mass. So I took him to the race we stayed with her and the day of the race we dumped him off at the start and went to Fenway to watch the Sox Indians game. I had a blast and he looked like pure hell when we picked him up a few hours after the game.

damnit Kirk. Seeing the wreckers in the background of the fucus posts led me to a rabbit hole. I now know where to get about 250 GALLONS of sanitizer for $20. And, yes, it's from a school district disposing of all their covid protocols.

Sounds more like the issue was "train of thought". How the ufck did you go from wreckers in the background to hand sanitizer.
