The e-locker is made by Eaton which is owned by Dana.Does any one know what locker (brand) is used in the Xterra Pro-4x Model.
I'm looking into removing my rear axle and installing the Pro-4X axle with real locker already built in on My X. but was just curious.
Many of us have done this, including myself, pretty simple, easy going swap. Couple things to keep in mind. Try your best to the the ABS sensors with the donor rear axle, they are $$ if you need to get new ones, and your r180 ones wont swap over. Also, you also have to swap the front diff to match gearing.
If I can get my damn Titan axles built, I'll have a matching pair of 3.69s available with a locker.I'm looking at doing this myself soon. I want to go to 3.69s really bad!

If you're going to hassle of regearing, I highly recommend 4.10's. Everyone seems to be worried about the on road driveability, but at 75 MPH you're turning about 2750 RPM.... My rig weighs right about 6K and freeway miles are still about 16MPG.
Needless to say I love it, and off road it's just beastly.
I want a set already geared. I'm 3.13 with a C200K so it's an axle swap.
I agree though, I'd be going 4.10 if I was regearing. But a full set is more economical and I don't have to hunt up a M205 immediately. But I would like one of those in the future as well, even though I currently have no plans to T-swap.Ah, copy that. Well that’s a huge improvement right there.

Well, If ya decide to go 4.10’s with no TS I have an r180 with the appropriate CVs I’d sell ya..... I’ve got an M205 in the garage waiting for 4.10’s I’d like to change out, but $ is the issue right now.
