So lifetime warranty starter (new not reman) lasted about 10 months. Looking at OEM and holy ****. Is it worth the price? Piss me off if I gotta change aftermarket starters once a year.

I mean, I'd be happy it has a lifetime warranty on it. Starters, IMO, are hit or miss. My dad and I swapped out both an OEM and an aftermarket one twice in one year on a '97 F150.

I personally have no experience with them, so take my advice with a grain of salt. The only thing I can think of is excessive cranking of the starter or the wiring going to and/or from it is causing an issue. Also, it could just be that the brand you are using is total and complete crap.

After freezing one during a blizzard, muddy water froze in the starter itself, an Advance Auto reman has been spinning mine for years and years.

The original bench tested fine after a good cleaning, so I have it for a spare. Just one of those things that I keep just in case.
