Starter clicking

Hi, need some opinions on this as it's got me stumped.
2002 X - recent battery & terminals. Started having issues with the starter, just click, click from the solenoid.
Replaced the starter and all was good....for a week. Now I'm back to click, click.

Power connections to the new starter a good. I'm thinking bad earth maybe? Where to look?

TIA Jay

It grounds through the block, so double check the battery connections, battery/body ground below the PS tank, and the larger ground by (I think) the PS pump.

I've had this happen on a few vehicles I have owned. This is what I have found.

1. Bad battery. Some will not turn over with lower voltage and just click they won't even try (Try jumping it if this works most likely the battery; I know you just replaced it maybe you got a bad one it happens.
2. I had a vehicle were I replaced the starter and this would happen because the starter did not line up correct. I had to shim it.
3. Bad ground or just general connection power or ground. Trace all the wires from the starter and follow them until it hits the battery + or -
