With the posibility of starting a job where I will comute I might be looking at a little tdI. This would mean that I get to make the x in to the off road rig it was meant to be. I would like to put some dana 44 axles under the truck. I don't want to do a 3 link and would rather do leaf springs to keep it simple. I have found a leaf spring hanger kit.

But what I would like to do is use rear springs and struts in order to make finding parts simpler and to make up for added weight of a beefed up front bumper and possibly a fire cummins swap if they ever get off there Burts and release the r28 engine. Now my question is has anyone ever used rear sprigs for a front sas?
