The new JWT clutch is in and I like it. It is definitely more of an on or off clutch and doesn't let you slip out at all. The truck feels like it has faster throttle response and more pep. I wasn't sure the the flywheel makes that much difference but apparently it does.

What it set you back if you don't mind me asking? I like to plan ahead. Clutch is one of those things rolling around the back of my head about my beauty

The clutch is $485 from JWT, flywheel is $450 + install/labor. BTW, the OEM dual mass flywheel is $650 from a dealership.

The dual mass flywheel cost is exactly why jwt is on my short list. Thank you. Did you do it yourself or farm it out?

I farmed it out. I don't have the time, tools and the complete know-how to do this. Mainly the time to have the truck down for that long, space in my garage, tranny jack, etc. You have to drop the exhaust, tilt back the engine, blah, blah. All of which would have been on the ground under the truck for me. It was worth paying for.
I am loving the clutch, btw.

Sometimes I look at my truck and think it doesn't look like it has 35's on it. So I parked next to a buddy with 3" SL and 33's.

I see you have a Bulldog installed. I have a question: is the ability to read the tire pressure on the tuner screen? I drive Xterra '06 and I do not have this possibility on board.

I don't think you can read tire pressure from a bully dog. At least not mine. I don't know of any Nissan system that will let you do that. It's just easier to get out and put a tire gauge on it and manually read it. You might want to look into a Carputer (car computer). I imagine you can custom build those to what specs you want

This is the exact reason I'm abandoning the system. It's pointless if you can't read the pressures. Plus the larger floatation size tires run on less hair pressure, so the system would always complain.

Yeah, tagged Bully Dog does not read tire pressures. It would be pretty cool if it did. My TPMS system is always confused anyway. I have it in all 5 tires as I rotate them all religiously. Most of the time my tires pressure lights are on anyway because the system can't resolve that 5th sensor.

plant service with the diagnostic device can read the pressure and temperature of each sensor of the wheels.

That's the thing: it's a custom mfr code that takes a $2000 device to read. Not DIY friendly. There _might_ be software available out there for the DIY market (Faux found one a while back), but I haven't seen one that I know works yet.

It looks just like the twin to mine[emoji12]. Was just on your same CO trails s couple of weeks ago[emoji106]

I think we were joking about that on Backwards Bill in Moab. Since you were right in front of me I had to pay attention which truck I was getting into every time I walked back to mine.

Finally swapped in an M205 and 4.56's.
The X was 'ok' with 35's and 3.69's but I didn't know what I was missing. I actually use 5th & 6th gear again!

That much better than 4.10s would have been? I did the math on 35s and 4.10's would get you to effectively 3.72. So you'd be better than stock. 4.56's seem a little steep by the numbers. I'M CONFUSED!

Jay, you're correct. I would recommend 4.10's to most people, especially if running auto tranny. With the 6 spd M/T I felt I could get away with 4.56's.

We're talking about me here. Three pedals for life. is 1st gear still usable? Because with the stock size tires and 3.69s I have now, its pretty steep.

1st is very usable with 35's. The RPMs are definitely higher. To put it in perspective, I am averaging 3037 RPMs in 5th at 65 mph.
