xrockerx, how do you like that 24/7? is that a gen1 or gen2? (just bought a PT840, which, is essentially the new version of the 24/7 Gen2)

My only gripe with it is the trigger pull. It takes quite a bit of getting use d to. Especially if you've ever owned a glock or another similar gun. I THINK it's a gen. 2, but i'm not 100%....i can tell you this though, i've put well over 1,000 rounds through it and have NEVER had a FTF or FTE....even with junk ammo.

So I've been going around town pricing guns since I turn 18 this weekend and I'm having trouble deciding what to get first. I know I said was getting a 870, I will but I want a new one and thats $300. I just found out dunhams sells the mosin nagant m91/30 for $119 or just getting a .22. I know that the shotgun and .22 ammo is fairly cheap where as the 7.62 round the nagant fires is $7.99 for 20 FMJ's. Im not sure which to get first. But most likely which ever one I don't get ill get a month or so later with my first pay check....thoughts, comments, concerns??

I would say it would depend where you was going to shoot. A .22 you can shoot at any range/indoor range, a Nagant on the other hand probably not.

Nagants are a blast though. A couple of my buddies have them. $119 seems a little high for them, not to bad though. Most guns shops around here sell them for 99.99 and spam cans of 440 for 110.99

There are no ranges where I live so it would all be farm/woods land. Yeah I just saw a online store who sells the 440 count for $74

Since turkey season is ending this weekend I'm almost tempted to go with the nagant. Im not sure how squirrels and birds would hold up against the 7.62 round but that season starts soon. I think they are a bit more expensive because they had "experts re-ferb" them.

Buds has the best price 90% of the time. There new stuff is usualy cheaper or about the same price as used stuff around here. Got to love there 90 day layaway too. I have bought 3 guns from them.

Dang, I was gonna show all mine, but alas ANOTHER TRAGIC boating accident!!
After the other couple accidents, you'd think I would learn NOT to take my guns boating, especially considering my luck with boats!
They're all at the bottom of lake... uh, Lake... MEAD! Yeah, That's it!
Me and my girlfriend, Morgan Fairchild were out boating when this big storm came in and capsized us. Yeah, and I had to save her. Yep! Al gone!
Tragedy I tell ya!:tears:
