My parents were originally against me nodding my truck too. But they got over it after going on one trip to coal creek with me. I'm better off over there with a modded truck

So I get home and I find out 99.9999999% of my tools have been stolen out of my garage :( what is wrong with people these days? Now I have no tools to do my stuff on mod day. Man this pisses me off.

Used to have the same problem when I lived in East Tennessee..garage hoppers.
@Tucker...my mom (yes my mom :D) went with me to nxm. She absolutely loved it!! I was 100% stock after that they where down for slight mods to the truck!

I will have just gotten back from florida but Ill talk to my parents about making the 45 minute trip down!

So uh...say I'm able to make this trip...would anyone be interested in trying to help out in making quick disconnects on both front doors so I can be able to remove them during warm weather? :D :D

Haha well I don't know how much or how we would connect and disconnect the wires but it would have to be pretty cheap materials cause I'm super broke.

It's not easy at all. One of my buddy did this and regretted it. Never got his power windows, power locks, dome lights, door speakers etc to work right after this.

Once you cut a wire, there's never going back

For real? Thats not good! I know of one Xer who did it and he didn't have the power windows or locks so he just had to do the speaker wire.

Thats something I'm going to think about cause I am glad I actually have a car alarm on this car compared to my past vehicle :D and I don't want to mess that up

If your x has alarm, I'm not sure how it would react with the doors off. It just seems way too complicated tho and doors are top heavy too. If your x was bare bones (no power locks, windows, alarm etc) then I'd say do it

I guess I just got used to opening the door and lifting up and the door just came off on my heep. But I was just seeing to many driving around and was like a X would get a lot of second looks and be sweet without doors! But most likely ill have a glassspack that will need to be welded on.

I won't be able to make this one but once I get back from the Stan I will definitely need a Mod Day somewhere after the middle to end of June.

I wont be able to make this either. Im making an unexpected trip in 2 weekends that will cost me more money than I thought so I wont be in murfresboro that weekend.

I am a maybe for this one. The day after I have to go down to Louisiana.
Most likely not going to bring the X, if I go it will more or less to meet everyone and help out.

Back in 07 when I first got my X I was a member on www.xterraownersclub.org and there was a guy that did removable doors with power locks, windows, and alarm and had no issues. He used connectors from nissan and cut the door harnesses in the jam and put actual connector pins on and everything.

But anyway, I am gonna try really hard to make this trip. I need to finish painting all my plastics and attempt to fix my power locks.... I do have a 3"SL to install, but I'm just gonna wait until I have some time to do it at work since I have a lift to use there, and I think its already gonna be a busy day if we end up with 3 BLs and 3PMLs...
