Hey all, it was brought to my attention that the price on my Bullydog GT tuners for the second Gen X's was very high (399.00) The new Price is 330.00 with Free shipping. I will alwayse price match and try and take care of you all anyway I can! I have updated the price on the website now. I try to have competative pricing but sometimes my prices are off.

Interesting.....

Now my question is, if I chose to pay premium option, does the BD know if I actually use premium or regular gas? I've always wondered that as if I selected premium option to gain 30+hp but used regular as if it would eff the engine up or not?

I would say you might get some destination if you don't run premium. The timing is advanced a bit when you run that type of tune. I imagine if you don't romp on it it would drive fine... But if you got on it it would detonate.

I don't know if the mapping is that broad. I would think if it was, you would not choice what gas you are using. But I love my BD tuner I have.

I can answer first hand for you.

If you switch to the premium tune and can't get GOOD 92 or better octane, you're wasting your money. Fuel economy won't improve at all and you're spending too much more in fuel costs, and "30+" HP is pushing your luck, it's more like 15hp if you can't find 92+ non-ethanol fuel to feed your rig...
