I saw that and got excited, I like how they kept the overall design the same but made changes to the engine inlets and the wing tips. I built 2 X-Wing models as a kid, but my favorite was the Y-Wing for the same reason the A-10 Warthog is my favorite jet, they're ugly as hell, but they blow crap up and can take a licking while doing it.
Star Wars has always been my main geek thing. When I was younger, I watched the old ones until I broke the VHS tapes. I had almost every toy from the first movies and got all of the new ones when the new movies came out. I had the Star Wars encyclopedia and read that every chance I had lol. I transitioned into MTG from a friends suggestion and got heavily into that and still play it on occasion. I was always an avid gamer too, playing through every console system from the NES on up (SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, Gamegear, Gameboy (all of them lol), N64, PS1, Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3 but stopped there. I got super competitive with the 360 and played on an MLG squad for MW2 and MW3. Intermixed into the consoles, I got into PC gaming with Diablo and Warcraft. I pretty much stuck to being a Blizzard fanboy and when WoW came out, crap, it was all down hill from there. I definitely had an addiction to it, and it severely affected my life in many negative ways, mainly being socially reclusive and morbidly obese. It gave me a few life RL friends, but I'm proud to say I've been WoW free for over 3 years. I'm also a pretty big Marvel fan, and owned every Iron Man comic from the original series up to 100 before selling them. It's interesting to see all my comic book icons becoming mainstream in movies now and evolving out of the nerdy genre. Oh yeah, I also did DandD for a couple of years. We'd go to Walmart and load up on Mountain Dews and hot pockets and play for hours, taking occasional breaks for Goldeneye for Diablo 2. I also watched Gundam Wing and DBZ religiously. I think it was 2 years ago that I even went back and watched the whole DBZ series again just for fun.
I may get an Xbox One in the somewhat near future, but with the Xterra taking the bulk of my free money for a while, I doubt it will be soon.
