Alright guys lets see them. there is a sliders, skids, and other threads but no rear bumper thread. show em off if you got one.
Skidrow
RLC said he could make rear bumpers for around 900 bucks. and it will have a spare holder.
I think ac offered a shrock bumper and a skid row bumper
Shrocks stuff is amazing, but its a 12 week wait to get one right now.
Jim has built them without the swing away if requested. Dont know why you would want it like that but he will do it.
here here!NO, NO, NO... I do want a swing away...just not $900 - $1000. I just can't see it.
here here!
I'd like to buy the bumper then have the swing arm put on later, but it would just look bad until it got on there
I'd buy the bare bumper w/o the swing arm and put it on later, I don't have a problem with that. That way I'd be able to make slight changes for my wants. I guess I'm looking for a base model so to speak. With an option from column A or 1 from column B.
Is the 12 weeks actual time to my door or to AC's door? Do I add a week or two if ordered from AC along with other stuff?
Also, lets face it I'm frugal, hell ...cheep. I can't see the addition of a tire carrier is worth $400. Besides, there is no option from Shrockworks for a rear w/o a tire carrier for a GEN1. So if someone has a rear w/ 1/4" face, unpainted, ready to install for under $500 delivered in 3 weeks, I'll investigate.
I don't have a problem w/ Shrock products. I do like what they put out. Hell the front bumper took out my garage wall. The problem I have is: Don't tell me 4 weeks and take 3 months or whatever, I'd rather you tell me 3 months up front so I'm not looking for it.
You can order directly from Shrock, and, AC doesn't have it go to them first anyway, its dropped shipped directly from Shrock to you....so the 12 weeks is 12 weeks.
It does look OK w/o the carrier, but, the carriers are hand matched to the bumpers, so, personally, I'd get'm as a set to not have to mess with alignment, etc, later.
It was under $700 painted.
