Power Steering Leak

I recently replaced the OEM wire clamps (4) on both ends of the two hoses connected to the P/S reservoir with regular worm clamps. This fixed the leak I was having with those hoses.

During the process of removing the bottom two OEM wire clamps, which are located where only freakishly small hands can reach, I may or may not have used a dremel with ceramic cuttoff disk to remove the wire clamps. At that time, I may or may not have accidentally cut the metal P/S pipe that is connected to the smaller of the two hoses (the return hose I believe).

Here is a pic of the cut in the pipe (circled in red):

How can I patch this hole? I tried duct tape, but I cant get it clean long enough to slide my hand up there and tape it up.

This pipe is pretty long, here it is in a blown up diagram, the pipe in question is highlighted in red, and the arrow points to the location of the cut:

And the link to the part on CourtesyParts.com:

Any ideas? I don't really want to install a new one, is there a way to just patch the pipe?

I think you should just do duct tape. Plug it up with your finger until you have the tape ready, then quickly switch out the finger for the tape.

Not really. Itd weld the whole tubing shut ahaha.

Do the cheap route with duct tape, and keep in mind its not a lasting fix, until you're ready to replace the whole thing.

Ya, I am probably going to replace it. I'll check the local stealerships to see if they have it. Courtesy wants 40 bucks to ship it, plus the 30 for the part itself. No thanks.

Just replace it, the tape option is pointless, as is trying to weld it shut. You would need to take it off to do the welding, it would not work anyway, and it is already off to fix it.

I replaced this part. It was only $30 from one of the local dealerships. Put it in halfway though the timing belt change this weekend. Only took about 30 minutes. I don't think I could have done it if I didn't have such easy access to it with all that junk out of the way.
