Places to buy and have Rock Sliders installed

Le Loup

Bought an X
After readingmany threads and thinking it over I want to begin my Mod by installing RockSliders. Looking for agood place to purchase, and have Rock Sliders installed for my X.

Areas I'm looking for recommendations for: Louisville/Fort Knox KY area (whereI'm stationed) or central NC, around Statesville or nearby (my hometown).

Anyone have recommendations?

You can just pick the design you like best and will work best for your application, and bolt them on yourself.

Awesome! I will get in touch with him and check things out. The Zoo is only about 40 mins from where I live.

I want something that's good quality and isn't going to fail me when its needed. Thx for the recommendation.

Suspension Lift
Shrockworks/Hefty fabworks (Much better shipping than Shrockworks) is another alternative....yes shipping times sucks but good quality and the sliders is a direct bolt on...no need to have a shop install it for you. Just get a jack and lift it to line up the holes and get the bolts in with one hole that needs to be drilled, nothing you can't do yourself. I had a extra set of hands so that made it go by faster.

I got my Hefty Sliders within a month from order to shipping....if you're coming to the M&G on the 19th, you can see the sliders yourself on my X from Heftys.

Now direct bold on I could do, building and welding are beyond my skill sets though. Yep I'll be at the Knoxville M&G on Sat unless the river rises, or another sink hole opens up in I-75. LOL Look forward to seeing your X's rails.

I know Imma Gen1 owner but thought I'd throw this in... Decide first if you're going to do a BL (Body Lift) or not before you make your Slider purchase. It'll save you time and money. Leaving Gen2 country now...lol

TKD, I'm new to the whole mod thing. How does a lift affect the skids?

Test Drive
if you do a body lift after you put sliders on the body will be farther away from the slider and could get more damage.
