P&P Engineering rock sliders can be prepared to integrate with our tube fender/fender protectors. Tube Fenders/fender protectors are still in development but if you're starting your collection of P&P armor now you can make your rock sliders backwards compatible.
A standard length rock slider rub rail is sectioned a couple inches from the front of the tube and a sleeve is affixed which will rejoin the 2 sections. The sleeve will insert into the main body of the rub rail similar to a drawbar being inserted into a hitch. A pin or bolt is then used to secure the 2 pieces.
The tube fender protectors will attach to the sliders in the same fashion, by replacing the front section of slider which is bolted on. Simply unbolt, remove and replace with the adapter for the fenders.
With a good powder coat the seam is hard to find without being right on top of it.
Any style slider for either generation can be prepared this way.
