I'm sticking with 265/75s but I still haven't made up my mind between the BFG ATs and the Duratracs..........also a couple of wildcards are still on my mind, the Dynapros and the A/T 3s. Anyone care to throw in last minute suggestions? :)

It would be good to note I guess that this is my DD and I don't do much wheeling, though I'd like to do more!

if you don't do a ton of wheeling the ko's are knock out. i haven't personally use the duraracts or know how they wear but my ko's lasted me a long time. i do want to try the dynopro though

I see you're in Georgia so I don't think where you are snow is a factor I would go with the duratracks there more aggressive looking than the Bfg's and they ride quiet and smooth and they're awesome off road

Go either Duratrac or KO.. But Id bump up in soze.. 285 75 16r
You dont have to wheel to look cool ;)

I have owned both.. And Ill be upgrading the Gen 2 in Feb.. Im on the fence with both of these tires...
Ideally Id like to run KM2s on the Gen 2.. but its the family truckster so.. It looks like ATs for me

Thanks for the input! how bad will the hit be to my MPGS if I go 285s? 2-3?

If you keep your foot out of the skinny pedal, there won't be much of a drop. My mileage actually improved 2mpg when I put 32s on. I slowed down and keep my RPMs "low."

I doubt you see a difference, a bigger tire does rotate less though so at highway speeds you will be at a slightly lower rpm, I have not heard of a gen two complaining of mpg loss buy getting 285's it's only adding an 1" from stock

You're actually going up 2". Stock is 265/70r16 = 30.6" 285/75r16 = 32.8" The biggest issue is because you have bigger tires, the wheels no longer turn at the same rate as stock, so the speedo will be off. Worse part is it'll read slow -- almost 5mph at 60 (speedo=60, actual=65)

That's what mine is. 65 on the speedo is actually 70 on GPS. It kills me setting my cruise at 65, but yeah...it has to be done, otherwise that gas needle goes south with a quickness.

mine is an S so it did come with the 265/70s but I replaced them with the 265/75 rugged-fails......I read somewhere that the speedo was set for the 75s from Nissan is that right? Now I'm contemplating seriously the 285s lol
