There's a spec for the OEM ride height, you may want to compare your ride height to that rather than your old springs because it's possible that your bigger lift is relative to sagging leafs. Also they do tend to settle a little bit after you get some weight and miles on them.
Did you go with the MD or HD leafs? FWIW I got very close to 1.5" lift from my MD leafs. I have thoroughly enjoyed the suspension, currently at 30K miles since install.

I was advised to wait and see if I needed to add shims to correct a 30-40 MPH driveline vibration. If you are not experiencing that, great. If you are, you may need to put some shims in to correct the pinion angle. We actually have two Xterras with the OME setup, and only one needed shimming, so although I feel the majority of installs require shims, it's not all of them.
